your regular radios have trouble picking us up, we recommend the
GE Super Radio III (about $40). This radio has excellent sound and
very good reception. It runs on batteries or AC power so it makes
a great emergency radio as well. It's available here.
For extra tough reception areas, you should try the "College
Band" outside antenna from Fanfare for $119. This antenna is
so small, it can be used on historic buildings because you can barely
see it. It's available here. If
